Ground Transportation to Long Island MacArthur Airport |

Whether you prefer to taking the train to the plane or the plane to the train, your travels are well covered coming into and out of Long Island MacArthur Airport. The Long Island Railroad (LIRR) is located just north of LIMA, and our on-site Taxi vendor, Village Taxi offers a $5 shuttle ride to transport passengers to and from the airport.
For both local and distance trips the shuttle is available outside of baggage and passengers can be taken as far as NYC and even Newark, NJ once they arrive at the station.
Five national car rental companies are located in baggage claim area of the terminal. The county bus service also makes hourly stops throughout the day at the main terminal. A greyhound bus terminal is also just a short distance away. VillageTaxi is waiting right outside baggage claim(see terminal map for location).
